Project Description: Used initially as abstract experimentation for other architectural projects, these plaster models allow the viewer to see a physical representation of action phrases such as “expand”, “contract”, and “inflate”. By filling balloons with plaster and occasionally implementing balsa wood structure internally to stretch the rubber, the liquid plaster fills these “molds” and harden into a permanent example of the tension, compression, and force that had been applied throughout the process.
